INTERNATIONAL CRIME THRILLER

A T T A C H É

NO JURISDICTION . NO BACKUP . NO GUN . NO TIME

When the U.S. ambassador to Greece (and future director of the CIA) is abducted, the FBI sends Special Agent John Roemer to aid in the rescue. Because of international laws, he must partner with a Greek intelligence liaison, who runs the case. And Roemer’s a horrible backseat driver.

After sustaining an injury in an attack that killed a fellow agent, Roemer must serve temporary duty at the International Operations Division.  On his first day, he learns of the abduction. Because Ambassador Concannon and Roemer are friends, they send Roemer over as an additional Legal Attaché.

When the hostage-takers demand a ransom for Concannon’s life, Roemer partners with Greek intelligence liaison, Sofia Liakos, who is armed. They lock horns, but her gun saves his life. New intel leads Roemer to Turkey. Leaving Sofia behind, his new liaison takes a bullet and nearly drowns. Roemer suspects the man behind the abduction may be ex-CIA. Relentless, he prepares to head into Syria, alone. Then Sofia shows up.

After tracking the terrorists to their hideout, they learn SEAL Team Six won’t get there in time. Outnumbered and outgunned, Roemer has two hours before the terrorists decapitate Concannon. With scarce resources to mount a rescue, has Roemer, in fact, run out of time?
